Venue

EIEC 2026 will be held at the Hotel Spa Elgorriaga, located in the Malerreka valley in northern Navarra, Spain.

The venue lies in a natural environment of great scenic value, in the western Pyrenees, surrounded by forests of beech and oak. The area is known for its quiet atmosphere and strong cultural identity, offering an ideal setting for focused scientific discussion.

In line with the tradition of EIEC, the meeting is hosted in a single, self-contained venue where accommodation, conference facilities and social activities are integrated. This format encourages continuous interaction among participants and helps create the informal and collaborative environment that defines the meeting.

Elgorriaga is situated close to the Baztan valley and within short distance of several points of interest such as the Señorío de Bertiz Natural Park and the caves of Zugarramurdi and Urdax, in a region rich in history, landscape and gastronomy.

Further practical information on how to reach the venue will be provided in due course.
