Bertiz Natural Park

The Señorío de Bertiz Natural Park offers a complementary perspective, focused on the natural environment of the region. Located between the Malerreka and Baztan valleys, it is one of the most representative and well-preserved natural areas of Navarra.

The park combines a historical estate —including a garden of botanical interest— with an extensive Atlantic forest dominated by beech and oak. A network of well-maintained and accessible walking paths allows visitors to explore the area at different scales, from short walks to longer routes.

In late October, the forest typically reaches one of its most visually striking moments, with autumn colors transforming the landscape into a dense palette of warm tones. This seasonal condition, together with the quietness of the area, makes Bertiz particularly suitable for casual exploration and informal conversation.
